Dr. Alexandria Boehm

TheSSML professor advancing environmental science through data-driven research on oceans, ecosystems, pollution, and sustainability.

Professor Alexandria Boehm is a leading environmental scientist whose interdisciplinary expertise strengthens The Standard School of Machine Learning’s mission to address global sustainability challenges through data-driven innovation. With a distinguished background as the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Professor of Environmental Studies, Professor of Oceans, and Senior Fellow at the Woods Institute for the Environment, she brings deep knowledge of coastal systems, environmental chemistry, microbial water quality, and the complex interactions between human activity and natural ecosystems. Her work focuses on understanding and predicting how environmental processes influence public health, ocean systems, and ecosystem resilience, increasingly supported by advanced computational tools and machine learning methodologies.

At TheSSML, Professor Boehm integrates environmental science with data analytics, guiding students to apply AI and predictive modeling to pressing challenges such as water pollution, climate impacts, marine ecosystem health, and environmental monitoring. Her research leadership and commitment to interdisciplinary education equip learners with the scientific and computational insight required to design innovative, sustainable solutions for a rapidly changing planet.
