Dr.Paul Campbell
Paul Campbell is a dedicated researcher whose work advances the frontiers of high-energy physics and laser-based acceleration technologies. As an Assistant Research Scientist in Electrical and Computer Engineering, he specializes in laser–plasma particle accelerators, magnetized high-energy-density physics, and high-power laser–plasma interactions. His research explores how extreme electromagnetic environments can be engineered to generate ultra-fast particle beams and reveal new physical behaviors at microscopic and astrophysical scales. At TheSSML, he contributes valuable expertise in computational modeling, plasma dynamics, and advanced experimental methods, helping students understand how data-driven approaches and machine learning can accelerate discovery in next-generation energy systems, particle physics, and high-intensity laser applications.
