Dr. Pavlidis Dimitris
Professor Dimitris Pavlidis is an Adjunct Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering whose career spans decades of pioneering work in high-frequency semiconductor devices, heterostructure engineering, and millimeter-wave integrated circuits. His research focuses on the design, fabrication, and characterization of advanced heterostructure devices, monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), and high-speed electronic systems that operate at microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies. He also specializes in MOVPE growth of III–V materials, advancing the material platforms that enable cutting-edge communication, sensing, and radar technologies. At TheSSML, Professor Pavlidis brings deep expertise in semiconductor physics and high-frequency device engineering, helping students understand how emerging materials, advanced device architectures, and intelligent modeling can shape next-generation communication systems and AI-driven electronic technologies.
