Dr. Rajiv Grover

Professor Rajiv Grover is an accomplished academic leader, researcher, and strategist who brings over four decades of global experience to The Standard School of Machine Learning (TheSSML). With a distinguished career spanning leadership roles at the University of Memphis, University of Georgia, Penn State, and visiting positions at Duke, Stanford, and Johns Hopkins, he contributes world-class expertise in decision science, marketing strategy, and executive education. At TheSSML, he enriches learners with a unique blend of scholarly rigor and practical insight, grounded in deep cross-functional understanding.

Professor Grover is the founder and president of PrecisED, Inc., a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation dedicated to reshaping executive education through technology-enabled learning. He also serves as an honorary distinguished professor at the School of Management & Entrepreneurship, Shiv Nadar University. Over his career, he has served as dean, chaired departments, developed transformative educational programs such as Virtual Business, and authored influential works including All the Business Your CEO Would Love You to Know, aimed at improving decision-making capabilities among executives and technologists.

A celebrated scholar, Professor Grover’s accomplishments include the prestigious O’Dell Award for the best paper in the Journal of Marketing Research, the Hugh O. Nourse Outstanding MBA Teacher Award at the University of Georgia, a BusinessWeek citation as “Best MBA Teacher,” the Frost & Sullivan Lifetime Achievement Award in Marketing Research, and the Choice Award for Outstanding Academic Title for the Handbook of Marketing Research.
