Professor David D. Wentzloff is a leading expert in radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuits and ultra-low-power wireless systems. As a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the Michigan Integrated Circuits Laboratory, he has made significant contributions to the design of energy- and volume-constrained wireless platforms, enabling next-generation communication systems, IoT devices, and embedded intelligence. His research focuses on highly integrated RF circuits, mixed-signal architectures, and miniaturized wireless technologies capable of operating with extreme efficiency in resource-limited environments. At TheSSML, Professor Wentzloff brings deep expertise in circuit-level innovation and wireless system design, helping students explore how advanced hardware, RF technologies, and AI-driven optimization come together to power the future of intelligent, connected devices.
