M. Mukhtar Wafa is an AWS Certified Data Engineer and a distinguished academic with dual degrees from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences. He has a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, big data analytics, and AI-driven solutions, making him a versatile professional in both industry and academia.

Previously serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, Mukhtar developed and delivered advanced courses on data infrastructure, data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud-based data pipelines. His teaching approach emphasizes practical, hands-on experience, ensuring that students can apply theoretical concepts to real-world challenges.

Currently, Mukhtar contributes his expertise as a Visiting Lecturer at The Standard School of Machine Learning (TheSSML), where he trains aspiring AI and data professionals in topics such as cloud-native data engineering, scalable data architecture, data warehousing, and advanced AWS-based solutions. His sessions integrate case studies, industry projects, and the latest cloud innovations, equipping students with both the technical skills and the strategic thinking required in today’s data-driven economy.
