Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Executive to join our high-performance team. You will play a key role in expanding our institutional and corporate reach, enrolling learners, and driving strategic partnerships that align with our mission of making cutting-edge tech education accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate leads from educational institutions, corporates, and individual learners.
  • Pitch TheSSML's training programs and offerings through calls, emails, online platforms, and presentations.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Drive admissions and partnerships through a structured and consultative sales process.
  • Coordinate with academic and marketing teams to align client needs with program offerings.
  • Maintain accurate sales and pipeline records using CRM tools.
  • Participate in events, webinars, and outreach initiatives to promote TheSSML’s brand.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and engagement targets.

Skills Required:
The ideal candidate should possess strong capabilities in lead generation and prospecting, with a proven ability to identify potential clients through various outreach techniques and tools. They must demonstrate excellence in sales and negotiation, effectively pitching offerings, handling objections, and closing deals. Proficiency in client relationship management is essential, with a focus on building and sustaining long-term engagements. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to engage with diverse stakeholders, along with confidence in delivering impactful presentations and public speaking. Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Salesforce is expected for effective pipeline management. A solid understanding of market research and analysis is crucial for refining outreach strategies based on industry trends and competitor insights. The candidate should be tech-savvy, with the ability to comprehend and articulate technology-driven solutions, particularly in the areas of AI, ML, and data science. Strong organizational and time management skills are key to managing multiple accounts and meeting deadlines, while a collaborative mindset is essential for working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and academic teams.

Role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in EdTech, training, or B2B/B2C sales is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn about AI/ML and emerging technology domains.
  • Driven, energetic, and passionate about education and innovation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
